I've ordered from Tigerdirect numerous times. Every time has been a pleasure. The items they have on sale are usually the cheapest around, and they always process the orders and ship quickly. Usually I get my items in three days. I've been shopping online regularly for almost ten years, and I have yet to find a safer, more reliable, expedient vendor. My rebate experience with them was reasonably simple as well. Took a month and half to get my rebate in the mail.

While I've only dealt with the Canadian counterpart of TigerDirect, all of my experiences have been positive. That being said I have some complaints, the first is the ammount of mail in rebates. More often than not, their prices are only good because of rebates which can take months to come. This is an annoyance however I continue to shop there, because of the well designed website, great product selection, and good prices.
Their newsletter has some of the best deals in it, and one should really act on those offers quicky. I have missed out on several I wished to purchase by waiting just 24 hours.

Most of their "Deals" are cheap rebates that hardly ever go through. Their shipping costs are very excessively prohibitive. Their customer service is terrible. They sent a partial order (weighed 4 pounds when it should have weighed 20+) and claim that I am the liar! I'm sorry but a good PSU, 120 DVD+Rs, anti-static mat, etc., does not weigh only 4 pounds. These people are scammers and you can find proof at www.BBB.org STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Shop at Newegg.com instead. They are fantastic.

TigerDirect caters both to American and Canadian customers.
They have a huge selection of items and also a great section of refurbished components.
I have only purchased their computer parts so my experience is only valid for these types of purchases, being the last one a DI-624 wireless router that I had to return because I got it for free from a friend. I find their customer support overally decent, but their returns department could use some improvement.
Shipping is fast and parcels are neatly packaged.
Would recommend to a friend, as long as he doesn't need to return an item.
Overall, 4 out of 5 stars.
