Attempted to however, didn't supply a working phone # - a mickey mouse operation. Making me wait until where ever. Unable to deliver on promise. Claims the camera nikon D200 is in stock. Take business someplace else. They cannot deliver. A huge disappointment.

I'd been shopping the internet for high end pro equipment, and had been having problems with all those other "bait and switch" shops from the east coast. I finally ended up going with Ritz because they offered free (standard) shipping and no taxes. I ordered by phone because I wanted to make sure that the sales rep knew exactly what I wanted,i.e., a USA model with USA warranty on all the equipment. Most of the equipment I ordered came within a week. One was out of stock and had to be back-ordered. When I finally received it, I found out it didn't have a warranty card. I called them up inquiring about it, and they mentioned the maker (not to name names, but it was Nikon)were beginning to no longer put the warranty cards in their Digital SLR camera boxes. I was suspicious about that, so I contacted Nikon, and they confirmed that. So, now I'm a happy camper. One thing to note, if you call their 800 number hourse, you will probably get someone from India, since I believe they outsource their phone calls during off hours. You stand a better chance speaking with someone from the mainland if you call during regular office hours. So, for high end equipment, Ritz Camera is competitive and pretty reliable. If you're more into the point and shoots and don't really care where the camera came from then you're better off with another dealer to get a better price - just be sure to ask a lot of questions and get the salesman's name and phone extension.
