Toshiba 62HM84 62-Inch DLP Rear Projection Television
The 62HM84 uses a proprietary system called TALEN (Toshiba Advanced Light Engine). It's based on Texas Instruments' HD2+ — currently their most advanced DLP chip. It has the same 1280 x 720-pixel resolution as the popular HD2 chip, but with enhanced brightness and contrast. High-quality DLP TVs already look sharper and brighter than most tube-based big-screens. Toshiba's TheaterWide TVs can now also challenge conventional models when it comes to reproducing deep blacks, and details in dark or shadowy scenes.
