Review: Purchased this because I needed a fairly compact MP3 player that I could use while snowboarding and rollerblading and needed a player that had a long battery life. This unit is excellent for each of these sports and the battery allows for a full day of activities without needing a recharge. With the anti-skip features and the small yet comfortable design this player is hard to beat. The headphones that came with the device are cheap and fall out of my ears and the music management on the player is completely non-existant. Otherwise this is an excellent player and is certainly worth the price.
Pros: excellent battery life, great storage capacity, comfortable design
Cons: cheap headphones, player music management

Review: This little item is easy to use, and comes complete with an instruction cd. It is small and lightwieght with a large amount of battery (10-15hrs)! Takes about 3hrs to fully charge. Music sounds crisp and is very good quality.
The carry case is a bit disappointing, concidering the overall quality of the rest of the item. It can be replaced however on a web site (the address is on the Cd rom). Also the earphones do not seem to fit in my ears - but this is not an unsual problem for me-so I have bought some which work for me.
All in all for my first MP3 player I am in awe of the quality and will never go back to carrying my cd player and cd's again
Pros: Very easy to use. the accompanying CD-rom of instructions and the download program make it a pleasure to transfer and store music files.
It is small and light wieght to carry in your pocket or handbag - leaving essential room for the all important lipstick!!!! For someone who has not used an MP3 player before it is really easy... I can vouch for this. I am enjoying carrying all my favorite tracks easily.
Cons: The Carry case is not as good quality as the player - but you can replace this on the websitefor one with holes in the approiate places.

Review: I have owned mine for just over 10 months now and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I use this at work, 5 days a week for about 7 hours a day. My Carbon has awesome battery life which lasts anywhere from 15-17 hours and takes just about 3 hours to fully recharge. Fits perfectly into my front pocket on top of my wallet.
The only issue I have with this player is the amount of text it displays when you try to browse the menus, 5 lines of text are visible. So when you want to search for that one band you want to listen to and you have tons of music loaded onto it, you have to scroll quite a bit to find it. That said, using the scroll wheel/volume knob is really quick and easy to do. It is just a little annoying at first, but I've gotten over it. Also, the carrying case does not have any holes in it to press the play/pause/forward/reverse button, so it isn't a very helpful case to use.
If you want something that does not have as many moving parts as a hard drive based player, I would recommend this. The Carbon is an excellent alternative compared to the other 5GB products out on the market.
Pros: Slim-sleek design, compact flash, excellent battery life, 5GB storage.
Cons: Small display screen when navigating the various menus and options and the supplied carrying case is not the greatest.

Review: I bought this as an alternative to the ipod mini and think it is great. 5gb of space and it is easy to use with extra long battery life (10-15 hrs.) i've had it for about 2 months now with no problems. i definitely recommend it.
Pros: small, easy to use, large space, drag and drop capabilities, no copyright protection. battery life.
Cons: it takes a long time to turn on, also the case that it comes with isn't very good
