Polycom’s SoundStation EX delivers more than double the coverage of Standard conference phones - accommodating up to 15 participants in executive conference rooms or board rooms. The sleek SoundStation EX console incorporates a telephone keypad, three built-in, unidirectional microphones, and sockets for two (optional) external microphone modules. The elegantly designed low-profile external microphones can extend coverage on either side of the console unit. Like the standard SoundStation model, which remains ideal for small-to medium sized rooms, SoundStation EX provides full-duplex audio using Polycom’s state-of-the-art Acoustic Clarity Technology, making regular speakerphones obsolete. The result is natural, free flowing discussion without clipped words, distortion, or other problems.
